Oman’s oil exports rise 2.7 percent to 129.5 million barrels
The Sultanate of Oman’s oil exports recorded a 2.7 percent increase by the end of May 2026, reaching 129,496,300 barrels compared to 126,056,900 barrels during the same period in 2025.
Preliminary statistics issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information showed that the average price of oil rose by 1.3 percent, to reach US$76.2 per barrel by the end of May 2026, compared to US$75.2 per barrel during the same period in 2025.
In terms of production, the average daily oil production recorded a growth of 9.7 percent, reaching 1.083 million barrels per day until the end of May 2026, compared to 987.600 barrels per day during the same period in 2025.
Oman’s total oil production also increased by 9.7 percent, recording 163,641,700 barrels by the end of May 2026, compared to 149,133,700 barrels during the same period of the previous year.
The increased price realisation coupled with enhanced production will help Oman meet its budgetary numbers as Oman’s 2026 Budget has factorised oil prices at US$60 per barrel.
