Ooredoo’s Goodwill Journey Expands Beyond Ramadan for Year-Round Impact
Ooredoo, has launched the 2025 Goodwill Journey from Muscat Grand Mall in Al Ghubra, under the auspices of H.E Sayyid Said bin Sultan al Busaidi, Undersecretary for the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth. This continues a two-decade legacy of uplifting communities across Oman. Held annually during the holy month of Ramadan, the Goodwill Journey has traveled across the Sultanate, reaching over 900,000 individuals and families through impactful initiatives.
This year, the journey continues its Ramadan tradition and will expand beyond the holy month with an all-new look and feel. Now with quarterly activities, ensuring year-round impact with a renewed focus on sustainable development, digital inclusion, women’s empowerment, and support for SMEs and vulnerable groups.

As part of the 2025 Goodwill Journey, Ooredoo is launching key initiatives across Oman to enhance accessibility, healthcare, innovation, and inclusivity.

The Goodwill Journey will begin in Rustaq, where Al Wafa Center will receive a shock absorber system and new outdoor play equipment, creating a safer space for children. Moving to Al Buraimi, Ooredoo will donate a Proctology Laser Machine and essential medical supplies to Al Buraimi Hospital, to enhance healthcare services. This is the first such piece of equipment of its kind in the Sultanate.

In Liwa, the journey will support the Liwa Science and Innovation Center with robotics kits for over 2,000 people and renovate the Shabab Sports Team’s sports field, providing better facilities for young athletes. Finally, landing in Sohar, Ooredoo will hold a workshop to maintain and fix wheelchairs across the Sultanate, to be held at the Omani Association for Persons with Disabilities. This one-of-a-kind event will be a stepping stone for sustainable projects that serve this particular sector. Ooredoo will also be providing one year of free internet to improve digital access.
Over the years, the Goodwill Journey has operated on the belief that when people thrive, the nation prospers. Guided by this vision, Ooredoo continues to empower individuals, support businesses, and drive progress across Oman.
