Supreme Committee Decides To Open Up Mosques

Muscat: The Supreme Committee for Dealing with COVID-19 has decided to reopen mosques and with a capacity of at least one hundred worshipers for the five daily prayers only (while not holding Friday prayers),
A statement issued online by Oman TV said: The Supreme Committee for Dealing with COVID-19 issues several decisions:
1- Allowing the reopening of mosques and with a capacity of at least one hundred worshipers for the five daily prayers only (while not holding Friday prayers), in accordance with the controls previously announced by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in coordination with the Ministry of Health
2- Ending the work of the decision to ban all commercial activities in all governorates of the Sultanate from 8 pm until 4 am, and the continuation of the decision to reduce entry to complexes, shops, restaurants, and cafes to no more than 50% of their capacity, while allowing children under the age of twelve entering it.
3- Allowing the opening of the activities of exhibitions, wedding halls, and other collective commercial activities, provided that the attendance rate does not exceed 30% of its capacity and does not exceed 300 people in all cases for halls with a large capacity while adhering to all preventive measures and requirements.
