New Drinking Water Plant Set Up In Bahla At A Cost Of RO2M
A new drinking water plant – Jabal Springs – was inaugurated by the Taawun Investment Company (a consortium of entrepreneurs in the Wilayat of Bahla) in the Khumaila Industrial Area at a cost of RO2mn.
His Excellency Sheikh Hilal bin Saeed Al-Hajri, the Governor of Al Dhakhliyah and host of the inauguration, stated that private companies are trusted to find job opportunities at the Governorate level to promote small- and medium-level companies.
His Excellency also confirmed that the Governor’s office has future plans to expand and deliver services to the Khumaila industrial scheme in the Wilayat of Bahla.
Meanwhile, Khalil bin Ibrahim Al-Hinai, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Taawun Investment Company, said: “The drinking water bottling plant, which was established in Khumaila Industrial Area, is located on an area of 21,000 square meters.
“The factory has a production capacity of about 24,000 bottles per hour, and these can be distributed to a number of governorates and states across the Sultanate of Oman.”
