Oman’s Land Borders To Remain Shut Until Further Notice
Muscat: The Sultanate’s land borders will remain shut until further notice, said the Supreme Committee tasked with dealing with the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The news came after Oman had extended the land border lockdown until February 8, 2021.
Oman had shut its land borders in December in a bid to combat the new mutant strain of Coronavirus that originated in the United Kingdom.
However, it is understood that citizens returning from outside the country can do so while adhering to institutional health isolation for a period of seven days.
