talabat, the leading everyday app in MENA, has appointed Abdulaziz Al Haddad as General Manager of tMart Oman, making him the first Omani to lead the company’s grocery and retail delivery business in Oman.

The appointment marks another milestone in talabat’s commitment to developing Omani talent and creating pathways for local leaders to take on strategic leadership positions. It also aligns with Oman Vision 2040’s focus on developing national talent and strengthening private sector leadership.

Abdulaziz’s journey with talabat began as an intern before moving into a Sales Executive role in 2019, where he played a key role in launching the company’s Local Shops vertical in Oman. Over the next seven years, he  progressed through leadership roles across sales, operations, account management and strategic direction of Local Shops in Oman. In that role, expanded partnerships with leading retailers and driving significant growth across the vertical.
