On the occasion of the state visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Republic of India, the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India singed an agreement and memoranda of understanding (MoUs). They covered fields of culture, communications, information technology and exchanging financial information between the two sides.

The two countries signed a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of India. It was signed from the Omani side by Issa bin Saleh Al Shaibani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India, and from the Indian side by Govind Mohan, Secretary of the Ministry of Culture.

In the field of information technology, Oman and India signed a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Republic of India. It was signed from the Omani side by Issa bin Saleh Al Shaibani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India, and from the Indian side by Amit Narang, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Sultanate of Oman.

An agreement was signed between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and the government of the Republic of India. The agreement pertains to the work permit concerning delegations of official employees. It was signed from the Omani side by Issa bin Saleh Al Shaibani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India, and from the Indian side by Muktesh Pardeshi, Secretary for Consular, Passport, Visa and Overseas Indian Affairs in Ministry of External Affairs.

The two nations also signed a memorandum of understanding between the National Center for Financial Information of the Sultanate of Oman and the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Government of the Republic of India. The memorandum aims to exchange intelligence information pertaining to money laundering, related crimes, and terrorist financing. It was signed from the Omani side by Col. Abdulrahman bin Amer Al Kiyumi, Executive President of the National Center for Financial Information (NCFI) whilst it was signed from the Indian side by Vivek Aggarwal, Director of Financial Intelligence Unit.

The two sides also signed the Joint Vision 2023 between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India. It was signed from the Omani side by Issa bin Saleh Al Shaibani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India, and from the Indian side by Amit Narang, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Sultanate of Oman.
