Khedmah Opens New Branch In Al Khuwair
Muscat: As part of its efforts to expand the services provided to its customers, Oman Investment and Finance Company (OIFC) has opened a new Khedmah branch in Nawras Commercial Center in Al Khuwair.
The state-of-the-art Khedmah centre is equipped with the latest modern technology that is in line with the full-fledged services provided by the company to meet the customers’ requirements. Through the branch, customers can pay electricity, water, telecommunications bills, and the Public Authority for Social Insurance dues, in addition to balance recharge of their phone and prepaid electricity.
Speaking on the launch, Said Ahmed Safrar, Chief Executive Officer of OIFC said: “This is yet another milestone achieved in line with our strategic expansion approach. The opening of new branches is based on structural analysis of market needs. This resonates with our approach that contributes to national urban development and meets customers’ requirements.”
Safrar further emphasized the commitment of Khedmah’s branch employees to constantly seek to deliver high-end services that reinstate the company’s esteemed reputation. Furthermore, he pointed out that the company intends this year to revamp and relocate a number of its branches and add several bill-paying machines in highly populated locations.
“Today, our branches, kiosks, and self-service payment machines are available in many commercial centers such as Seeb City Centre, Grand Mall, Mabella Nesto Hypermarket and Sohar Safeer Mall. Undoubtedly, the launch of the new branch will be a valuable addition to our robust network. It will target customers from Al Khuwair and its surrounding areas. They will be able to avail our services and at the same time run other errands in the Nawras Centre,” he further stated.
Saud Ahmed Al Siyabi, Chief Operating Officer of OIFC, said: “The high demand on our services, growing customer base as well as the increased services and products provided to customers, prompt us to further innovate on ways to meet customers’ aspirations. Additionally, in keeping up with the competition on the market.
“Over the previous two years, the branch network witnessed a great expansion and renovation focusing on highest standards. The company also saw a strategic development that is aligned with latest technologies used in the market. As such, we were able to provide many electronic payment channels such as Khedmah app and the company website. Via these channels, customers can utilise all services without visiting the branches.”
The new branch is larger in space and provides more parking space. This furthers ease of accessibility and convenience to OIFC’s clients.
Al Siyabi further mentioned that the new centre will have a qualified team similar to our other branches. He assures customers that the teams will cater to their needs as per the best practices used in customer service industry.
Established in 1979, OIFC is one of the leading Investment and Services Company and specialises in billing, collection & debt factoring for electricity, water and telecom services in the Sultanate of Oman. The company’s various payment channels allow customers to easily pay their electricity, water and telecommunications bills.
The working hours for the new centre will be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Sunday to Thursday. A self-service payment machine is also available in the branch working around the clock.
