Here Are The List Of Activities Exempted From The Lockdown In Oman

Muscat: The Supreme Committee has decided to ban all commercial activities for a week from 4 AM to 7 PM starting on Saturday, 8th May to 15th May.
Restaurants and Cafes are allowed to remain open without customers on their premises and are allowed to have a 24 hour home delivery service throughout the lockdown period with licensed home delivery services and companies.
Other Exemptions include health workers, emergency vehicles and emergency services for electricity and water services only, workers in private hospitals, and pharmacies during the night shift. Hypermarkets are allowed to stay open before the curfew only providing grocery essentials and foodstuff.
The exemptions also include movement of individuals and vehicles working in ports and airports, Truck drivers of all kinds of 3 tons and more, water tanks and sewage transport tanks, loading and unloading operators in factories with restricted movement on in the factory premises, Warehouse employees with restricted movement, fuel station staff and factory workers who are restricted within the factory premises during the lockdown period.
Media and Press reporters from both public and private sector media houses are exempted from the ban with prior permission from the Ministry of Information. Fishermen, beekeepers, and workers in food laboratories are allowed to work during the lockdown period with a prior permit issued by the Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries, and Water.
