Higher Education Ministry-OMIFCO Ink Cooperation Agreement
Muscat: The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Oman-India Fertilizer Company (OMIFCO) today signed a cooperation agreement in the field of higher education and scholarships.
According to the agreement, OMIFCO will finance a number of bachelor scholarships for the graduates of general education diploma (GED) through the Higher Education Admission Center (HEAC).
The agreement was signed by Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Ahmed Said Al Marhoubi, CEO of OMIFCO.
The agreement stems from OMIFCO’s social responsibility.
The ministry seeks to promote partnership with private sector establishments to contribute to providing educational opportunities for GED graduates.
