Ahli Bank upgrades Internet & Mobile Application
Ahli Bank has upgraded and improved its mobile banking app for an enhanced digital banking experience to meet the changing needs of customers.
Technology upgradations, at par with global standards, have also been made to the online banking platform to ensure the customers have quick access to their financial information with complete security.
The online and mobile banking solutions gives a seamless experience, 24×7 to Ahli Bank customers. Some processes such as fund transfer, opening a new account, filing complaints or contacting customer service are now available at a click of a button. The new-age solutions offer faster transactions and facilitates better customer service.
Ahli Bank offers a number of digital products and services for convenient and easy banking. With innovation at the forefront of its vision, the Bank believes in offering high-end digital products and world-class banking solutions. They have launched various self-service kiosks and cash deposit machines at strategic locations in the Sultanate. Their digital portfolio also includes introduction of e-wallet and installation of integrated teller machines.
“Keeping pace with the new wave of digital disruption, we constantly work on improving our operational efficiency, introducing new banking products, and enhancing our security parameters to empower our customers and stakeholders. Our digital solutions are user-friendly, secured and easily accessible,” said Hanaa Al Hinai, Deputy General Manager – Retail Banking, Ahli Bank.
Recently, the Bank also announced the launch of Contactless Cards. The innovative technology allows the customers to make payments by just tapping the cards on the merchant payment terminals. This feature will be available for all debit and credit cards holders of Ahli Bank. The benefits of contactless payment include convenience, safer transactions with phones as well as cards, and the swipe and pay feature.
Earlier this year, Ahli Bank also upgraded to the Point of Sale (POS) technology. The new POS system increases efficiency and expands payment capabilities in terms of inventory, employee and reporting management. This agile technology is not only faster but can also help lower the cost of operations, by increasing productivity.
