Ahli Islamic holds ‘Qitaf’ prize draw

Ahli Islamic, celebrated the first launch draw of the Sharia-compliant ‘Qitaf’ prize account at Rustaq on January 9, 2020.
HE Nasser bin Rashid bin Humaid al Abri, Member of Majlis Ash’shura, Wilayat of Al Rustaq was the chief guest at the event that was attended by bank officials, VIP customers and others.
Continually improving its customer service offerings and rewarding customers for their loyalty, the bank conducted a special launch draw for cash prizes of RO50,000 to reward 50 customers, who won RO1,000 each, which includes five winners from each of the nine branches and five winners from the branch network.
Yousuf bin Salim Al Rawahi, Deputy General Manager and Head of Ahli Islamic said, “We are beginning the year with rewarding prizes for our loyal customers. Qitaf, which is based on the Mudaraba principle of Islamic Sharia, provides an opportunity for customers to invest in profit generating assets’ portfolio in addition to making them eligible to enter into the prize draw.”
Account holders can participate in weekly, monthly, quarterly and special occasion draws. The weekly draws offer cash prizes for two winners from every Ahli Islamic branch. Qitaf account holders are automatically eligible for weekly, monthly and special draws if they maintain an average minimum balance of RO100 in their account, while the minimum eligibility for the quarterly draw is RO1,000. With a plethora of savings opportunities coupled with maximum customer convenience, Qitaf is looking towards instilling savings culture among its customers and reward them for their loyalty and support.
Qitaf account holders also stand to win valuable prizes worth more than RO1mn through a savings and rewards account. The account holders can withdraw cash through OmanNet ATMs across Oman and enjoy free internet and mobile banking services.
