Liva Insurance has announced a new community-focused commitment in collaboration with the Zakat Al Seeb Committee to renovate the Children’s Cancer Ward at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital’s Oncology Department, reinforcing its commitment to creating meaningful and lasting social impact in Oman.
The initiative reflects Liva Insurance’s commitment to giving back to the community and creating positive change beyond insurance. At its heart, the project is about uplifting young patients and their families by fostering an environment that offers comfort, reassurance, and moments of joy during a challenging phase of treatment. Through child-friendly wall designs, a dedicated games and activity room, digital learning and entertainment tools such as tablets and laptops, as well as toys and interactive elements, the initiative aims to support emotional well-being while reinforcing Liva Insurance’s belief in standing alongside people when it matters most.
Building on this commitment, Liva Insurance continues to translate its values into action by supporting initiatives that deliver tangible, long-term impact. Through partnerships with trusted community organisations and healthcare institutions, the company works closely with stakeholders to address real needs and contribute meaningfully to the social well-being of the communities it serves.
Commenting on the initiative, Hanaa Al Hinai, Chief Executive Officer of Liva Insurance, said, “At Liva Insurance, we measure impact by the difference we make in people’s lives. This initiative reflects our belief that meaningful support extends beyond policies and coverage. It is about creating environments that support healing, dignity, and care, while working closely with partners who share our commitment to community well-being.”
The renovation project is expected to be officially launched in the presence of representatives from Liva Insurance, Zakat Al Seeb Committee, and Sultan Qaboos University Hospital.
