144 new Covid-19 cases in Oman, total rises to 1,410
The Ministry of Health (MOH) on Monday announced the registration of 144 new confirmed cases of Covid-19, taking the total registered cases in the Sultanate to 1,410, including seven deaths.
Of the 144 new cases, 58 are citizens and 86 expatriates. The number of recoveries rose by 5 to 238.
On Sunday, the Ministry of Health announced the death of a resident aged 59, who had been suffering from Covid-19,
bringing the total number of deaths in the Sultanate to 7.
The Ministry has advised all citizens and residents to wash hands with water and soap, avoid touching the face, nose, mouth, and eyes and follow the healthy habits when coughing and sneezing.
