MoU for digital solutions Between ITA Oman and Assisted Technology Centre in Qatar
The Information Technology Authority (ITA) Oman signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Assistive Technology in Qatar (Mada) to cooperate in the field of supporting innovations for the development of digital solutions, especially for people with special needs.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Salim bin Sultan al- Ruzaiqi, CEO of the Information Technology Authority, and Maha bint Mohammed al- Mansouri, CEO of the Assistive Technology Centre in Qatar. The cooperation between Sultanate and the State of Qatar aroused from the ITA and the Assistive Technology Centre of Qatar aspiration to support young people in developing unique innovations that will develop digital solutions to meet the needs of both countries.
According to the MoU, the Omani and Qatari emerging companies will maintain cooperation to develop technological solutions that serve Omani and Qatari markets and provide emerging companies in both countries to take part in the technology exhibitions held in them.
