ROHM Announces Photographic Exhibition ‘ROHM Through Omani Eyes’ At The Royal Opera House Of Muscial Arts

The Royal Opera House Muscat is delighted to announce the opening of a temporary exhibition at the Royal Opera House of Musical Arts.
‘ROHM Through Omani Eyes’ is a stunning photographic celebration of the Royal Opera House Muscat, acknowledging the contribution of the artists who influenced the design and the photographers who have captured its beauty over the last decade.
The exhibition honours the architectural beauty of Muscat’s thriving cultural centre and describes the history of the opera house to this day.
Visitors to the exhibition can expect to be welcomed into the Royal Opera House of Musical Arts to enjoy a beautifully curated experience. The exhibition begins with a reflection on the building programmes and inauguration of the Royal Opera House Muscat and the Royal Opera House of Musical Arts, before celebrating some of the designers who influenced the aesthetics. In the next section, special works by guest photographers taken of the outside of the buildings are displayed.
An audio-visual room then offers greater context to the architectural detailing of both buildings. Finally, the images of two of Oman’s most well-known artists, H.E Mohammed Al Zubair and resident photographer Khalid Al Busaidi, who have had unparalleled access to the opera house over the last decade, are celebrated with a gallery of their works from ROHM productions and the interior of the buildings.
Visitors are invited to attend ‘ROHM Through Omani Eyes’ from Monday 20th February for one month, with the final day on Monday 20th March 2023. Opening times are 10 am to 6 pm. For more information, please check the ROHM website or contact the box office.
