Muscat: MHD-ITICS, the Infrastructure, Technology, Industrial and Consumer solutions cluster of Mohsin Haider Darwish LLC, announced in a recent press conference the appointment of Omani motorsport champion Ahmad Al Harthy as their Brand Ambassador. As part of this association, MHD-ITICS will partner with and support Ahmad Al Harthy in the upcoming 2021/2022 racing season.
The press conference, held on 26 October 2021 at the Al Bustan Palace – A Ritz-Carlton Hotel, was attended by Ahmad Al Harthy and The Honourable Lujaina Mohsin Haider Darwish, Chairperson of MHD-ITICS, along with key members of the Oman Racing Team and senior members of management from MHD-ITICS.
Commenting on MHD-ITICS’ sponsorship of Al Harthy for the 2021-22 season, The Honourable Lujaina Darwish said, “We have always been proud to associate ourselves with and stand behind exemplary Omani talent like Ahmad Al Harthy, who has brought pride to Oman on the racing circuit. MHD-ITICS is extremely happy to support him in the upcoming 2022 racing season.
“Moreover, through our partnership with Ahmad Al Harthy and Oman Racing, we will be able to raise awareness and exposure internationally of MHD-ITICS and our brand values, given the team’s present status on the circuit. At the same time, we will be assisting Ahmad Al Harthy and Oman Racing in the pursuit of their passion for competition, perfection, and discipline. It is this very same passion that is the driving force behind our company’s performance, making us market leaders in the business domains we are active in.”
Al Harthy expressed his delight with the new partnership saying, “Over the past several decades, MHD-ITICS have actively contributed to the economy of our nation. It is indeed a great pleasure to have a company of their stature on board as an important strategic partner of the Oman Racing Team. It will be a pleasure to work with them throughout the 2021/2022 racing season. Our new partnership encourages us to continue what we are doing at the highest level we can in motorsport, seeing the Oman flag flying proudly wherever we race around the world.”
Enjoying another successful season in 2021, Al Harthy was a top-four GT class finisher on his maiden campaign in the Asian Le Mans Series, a race winner on his return to British GT back in August and a podium finisher in the ‘Road to Le Mans’ in France. Earlier this month, in his second outing of the year in GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, he took a superb Pro-Am podium finish in Spain.
