Here’s How Much The 5- And 10-Year Long-Term Visas Will Cost In Oman
Muscat: After news broke of a new five- and 10-year-long visa scheme in Oman under the new ‘Investor Residence Programme’, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) revealed the cost for procuring the visas this week.
In a decision issued by the ROP, these ‘special’ residency visas will allow eligible expats to live in the country for a period of five and 10 years.
The cost for the same will be as follows:
Five-year visa: RO300
10-year visa: RO500
The ROP have also stated that these visas must be renewed every three years and will cost the same as renewing the visas.
It is understood that investors can also now apply for visas for their spouses and children. The cost of these visas will be RO100 for those with a 10-year commitment and RO50 for those with a five-year commitment. The cost of renewing these visas will be the same as their application fee.
The visa is reportedly valid for a period not exceeding one year and is subject to extension for the same period based on receiving approval from the competent authorities.
