Majlis A’Shura Convenes To Discuss GCC Law To Tackle Fraud
Muscat: The Majlis A’Shura held its latest session today and discussed a proposed draft of GCC Law on Combating Commercial Deception, among other issues.
The meeting was chaired by Khalid Hilal al-Ma’awali, Chairman of Majlis Ashura.
The meeting addressed the Education and Research Committee report about a ‘science and Math chain report’ and reviewed responses from various government departments on several issues.
The queries included: Providing the Wilayat of Yanqul with a water network, A’Rustaq-Al Awabi, a dual-carriageway, establishment of a Commerce, Industry and Investment promotion department in the Wilayat of Al Jazir and the set-up of labour recruitment offices.
The Shura Council also brainstormed various options for extending the application period for land usage and a response about a project to accommodate Al Kamil W’Al Wafi road in the A’Sharqiyah Expressway project.
