After Avengers: Endgame, it’s starting from ground zero for Marvel Studios. A one full chapter is over, that is, the Infinity Saga. And the biggest question that every MCU fan has is, “What’s next?”

What can be even bigger than Endgame, to match the same level of hype that it generated?

Well its not official but there may be an answer to that.

As per the reports and sources from HN Entertainment, the Marvel Studios is rumored to be planning a movie on Ultimates! Yes, you read that right.

Going by the report, it says that the ‘Ultimates’ movie will be a part of the expanding efforts Marvel Studios is placing on exploring the multiverse and different alternate realities that have now been officially introduced post-Avengers: Endgame.

And the recent trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home, a few weeks ago, just confirmed it for everyone.

Well, it’s really interesting when it comes to the Ultimates team itself since there have been different line-ups. The superhero members have been different in every new team, in the comics.

The first Ultimates team was created by Mark Miller, which was a part of Marvel Comics’ Ultimate Universe. It was established in the early 2000s. More importantly, it has also influenced much of the MCU films too, till date.

The Ultimates team basically focused on fighting cosmic battles and inter-dimensional threats. And many members of the team are already there now, in the MCU. They include Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Spectrum, America Chavez, Blue Marvel.

Three of these characters are part of the MCU storyline, like Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther, and Akira Akbar’s Blue Marvel (she played the role of Monica Rambeau in Captain Marvel film earlier this year).

But now that almost 20 years have passed since the 90s when Captain Marvel was introduced, it’s certain that Blue Marvel’s character will now be shown as a grown-up woman as well. It may be coming in the future—who knows, in the Captain Marvel’s sequel itself.

And currently, going by the trend in which Kevin Feige wants to move, something huge is definitely coming. An ‘Ultimates’ film may well be on its way. Because the majority of MCU stories will now be based on cosmic levels.
