Oman Arab Bank launches new ‘Rewards App’ for credit card holders

Oman Arab Bank (OAB) credit card holders can now use its recently launched smartphone app to avail reward points earned by using their cards.
The app, which is available both on iOS and Android, is free to download. The app hosts advanced biometric features (face and fingerprint recognition) to ensure the highest level of safety. Once registration is confirmed, customers will be able to access their reward points and accordingly use their options to either uses them or reclaim them as cash.
The reward points can be used to buy tickets, shop, make hotel reservations and much more and customers can also avail exclusive discounts from over 150 retail stores in the Sultanate, including hypermarkets, ready-made clothing stores, hotels, premium restaurants and famous electronics shops.

The bank has been continuously working to develop its digital infrastructure and adding more products and high-quality services to enhance the added-value for its customers. According to Rashad Al Shaikh, the Deputy Head of the Retail Banking Group at OAB, the launch of the app falls in line with this objective and aims to provide exclusive facilities for its customers at the biggest retail outlets in Oman, each of which that have been carefully selected to provide great value for the customers.
