Kuwait’s Jazeera Airways launches direct flights to Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Kuwait-based Jazeera Airways introduced direct flights from Kuwait to Dammam, capital of the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The flights will commence from December 19 and will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

With over 10.4 million passengers in 2018, Dammam’s King Fahd International Airport is the third largest airport in Saudi, the airline said in a statement. The service will be Jazeera Airways’ fifth destination in the Saudi Arabia, following Riyadh, Jeddah, Medinah and Taif.

The low-cost airline will also provide residents of Dammam with flight connections to Hyderabad, Alexandria, Amman, Mumbai, Cochin and Kathmandu, mainly catering to the large expatriate segment and expanding trade relations, added the statement.

Last month, Jazeera Airways launched Kuwait-Karachi direct flights.
