420000 jobs to open up for Saudis soon

Nearly, 4,20,000 jobs are soon likely to be on offer for Saudi citizens in an effort towards localisation, Labor and Social Development Minster Ahmed Al Rajhi said at the Saudi Budget budget 2020 conference.
Following the announcement of Saudi Budget 2020, the minister told the national media that several steps have been undertaken to localise 595,000 jobs. Of this, 175,000 jobs have already been Saudized till September 2019. Which means, 4,20,000 will open up for Saudi citizens soon.

The minister’s comment appeared in the country’s leading media outlets. He further highlighted the launch of Future Work Company which will focus on activating “unconventional and modern work” such as distance employment, flexible work hours, freelancing and so on.
The ministry has helped improve women’s participation in the job market, which exceeded 2020 objectives and achieved 25.3% in 2019, he further noted.

On Monday, Saudi Arabia approved one trillion and twenty billion Saudi Riyals state budget for the fiscal year 2020. The budget 2020 underlined the importance of economic transformation, in line with the kingdom’s Vision 2030, and stressed on the steps needed to execute it.
