The Ministry of Tourism will participate in three European tourism exhibitions to promote tourism in the Sultanate, highlighting the tourist services and the latest developments in the Omani tourism sector.
The ministry through such participations, aims to introduce the Sultanate as a tourist destination, which is unique in its environmental and tourism elements in the region and its ability to host the largest and most important international events, conferences, meetings and exhibitions through infrastructure, hotels and tourist facilities they own and find links with various international organisations and federations projects.
The Ministry of Tourism is scheduled to participate on September 29th in IFTM the Top Resa tourism exhibition in Paris, which lasts until the second of next October. It is one of the most important tourism exhibitions to be held in France. Eight Omani tourist companies and hotels will conduct a series of meetings with a number of French institutions specialized in the tourism sector to exchange information and programs and sign agreements to attract tourist groups to the Sultanate during the coming period. The Public Authority for Craft Industries will also participate in the exhibition.
The Ministry of Tourism will take part on November 2nd in the World Travel Market (WTM) at its 36th session this year in London and lasts for four days with the participation of more than 170 countries from around the world.
The exhibition will give 20 Omani tourism institutions, participating in the exhibition in the Sultanate’s pavilion, the opportunity to promote their programs and offerings, to highlight the tourism product of Oman, introducing the most prominent existing and future tourism projects, exchange of experiences with the participants, learn about the latest developments in world tourism industry and meeting large companies operating in the tourism sector in order to build a business relationship with those companies and their counterparts.
The World Travel Market Exhibition in London is a leading and largest specialized international exhibitions in the global tourism industry, which provides exceptional opportunities to meet elite global tourism bodies.
The Ministry of Tourism will also participate with a pavilion featuring eight hotels and tourist companies in Incentive and Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition with Conferences, during the period from November 17th till 19th in Barcelona, Spain.
