Saudi Arabia Temporarily Bans Entry Of People From 20 Countries From Today
Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will suspend the entry of people from 20 countries starting from today as the number of Coronavirus cases in the country increases.
The Ministry of Interior announced that the temporary suspension for entry to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been enforced on non-citizens, diplomats, health practitioners and their families coming from each of the Republic of Argentina, Federal Republic of Brazil, Arab Republic of Egypt, Republic of France, Federal Republic of Germany, Republic of India, Republic of Indonesia, Ireland, Republic of Italy, Japan, Republic of Lebanon, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Republic of Portugal, Republic of South Africa, Kingdom of Sweden, Swiss Confederation, Republic of Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States of America.
The temporary suspension includes whoever comes from other countries if he/she passed through any of the aforementioned countries during the 14 days preceding the request to enter the Kingdom.
The source added that the citizens, diplomats, health practitioners and their families coming from the aforementioned countries or those who transited any of those countries during the 14 days preceding their return to the Kingdom will be exempted from the ban.
The ministry pointed out that the temporary suspension will go into force on 03/02/2021 at 21:00 pm.
