Oman’s Ambassador To Saudi Arabia: Road Link In Final Stages Of Completion
Riyadh: The Sultanate’s Ambassador to The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, HH Sayyid Faisal bin Turki al Said mentioned in a statement to the ONA that Oman – Saudi direct road link is progressing well and is nearing the ultimate stages of completion.
HH Sayyid Faisal said the distinctive relationship between the two brotherly countries are strongly reflected on multiple public and commercial levels thus, deepening the cultural, social and economic relationship between the two brotherly countries.
For instance, the Ambassador noted that, Oman’s Vision 2040 and the Saudi Vision 2030 have many shared programmes incorporating the exchange of expertise between the two countries and accounting for the uniqueness of each country. He added that the economic systems of the GCC countries, are generally similar and the GCC governments are striving to realise economic integration.
Commenting on the Saudi investments in the Sultanate, the Ambassador said that the reliance lies on the business sector in both the countries to raise the level of trade exchange, indicating “the desire of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to further enhance investments in the Sultanate” in light of the amendments and improvements issued by the Sultanate, both at the level of structuring the state’s administrative apparatus or at the level of legislation and improvement of the business environment in addition to great facilities to support and stimulate the national economy.
