Ahlibank Focuses On Digitalization And Employee Welfare; Conducts Its Quarterly Staff Meeting Virtually
Muscat: In order to keep pace with the rapid developments in the sector and
continue to maintain a conducive work environment to keep its employees motivated, ahlibank held its quarterly staff meeting virtually. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Said Abdullah al Hatmi, CEO of the Bank, in the presence of all the bank’s employees across all branches in Oman.
The meeting reviewed the performance of the bank in the first quarter of 2021 and analyzed its key growth indicators and the latest trends in the banking sector. While promoting a positive work culture and reinstating the bank’s efforts in maintaining open channels of communication, the meeting provided a platform for employees from different branches and varying positions to voice their opinions and offer valuable insights pertaining to their areas of expertise. With an eye on expansion, the meeting reviewed ahlibank’s achievements in growing its branch network and highlighted the bank’s commitment to continuously enhance its infrastructural facilities while also working towards expanding its headquarters in Muscat. ahlibank’s state-of the-art headquarter attests to the bank’s dedication to providing an inspiring work environment for its employees. At the same time, it facilitates interconnectivity between all the branches and provides a central channel for all banking transactions. Aligning itself to the Bank’s overall roadmap for digital transformation, the meeting focused on the need to commit to employing modern and advanced technologies in the bank’s service system to ensure that all operations continue uninterrupted. The successful implementation of the bank’s business continuity plan and the introduction of a distant work system are a testament to the bank’s digital capabilities.
By enabling a remote work system during the COVID-19 crisis, ahlibank was able to ensure the safety of its employees while all its vital services to its customers remained uncompromised. While the bank continues to upgrade its digital capabilities, it also imparts the necessary training sessions to ensure that its employees are well-versed with the latest changes and reserve the skills to execute them efficiently. The success of this operation is reflected in the excellent customer service levels that ahlibank has been revered for.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Mr. Mohammed Al Mufargi, AGM Head of Human Resources

We also believe that it is essential to acknowledge all our employees’ efforts as it is due to their unfaltering dedication that we have achieved several milestones. This meeting also gave us an opportunity to honour a number of employees who have completed 10 years of service at the bank and we thank them for their efforts.”
