As a part of the agreement with Integrated Solutions for Plant and Land Services, the new production plant will be set in the Sohar Free Zone on an area of 15,000sq.m. and cost RO2.2mn.
The project will produce ammonium sulfate, which will contribute to the promotion and increase of Omani exports, especially to countries such as Pakistan and Tanzania.

Omar bin Mahmoud Al-Mahrazi, the CEO of SOHAR Free Zone and Executive Vice President of Sohar Port, said that the new plant will enhance the ability of SOHAR Port and Free Zone to serve the local, regional and global markets, and provide them with high-quality industrial products.
He also noted that the port and the free zone will provide companies with all the logistical services required, including direct shipping to the largest global markets.
Meanwhile, Hussein Amin, a partner in the signing company explained that the agreement will expand the company’s operations in many growing markets, indicating that the company is characterised by the production of high-quality organic liquid fertilizers that will contribute to meeting the increasing requirements corresponding to the global population increase.
