‘The Role That The Youth Has To Play Is Immensely Critical’: Mohsin Al Bahrani On The Omani Youth Day

Mohsin Hani Al Bahrani, the CEO of Automotive, Construction Equipment & Renewable Energy (ACERE) MHD LLC, talks about the importance of youth in shaping a strong future for the country on the occasion of the Omani Youth Day 2020.
Below is an excerpt from his interview:
How is the Omani youth shaping the future of the country?
The prominence of the youth in Oman is being expressed in a manner where we as a country show the importance of our citizens.
The role that the youth has to play is immensely critical. What we do today is what is reflected tomorrow.
We as the youth of Oman form an integral part of the economic and social structures. Therefore, celebrating the youth of today who continue to be actively be involved in achieving new milestones is definitely something that we all can celebrate.
As a leader who is powering his company (ACERE) forwards, is there a message that you want to share with the youth in the country?
Thank you for your kind words, I honestly believe that we need to engage the younger people in Oman. Be it in generating a range of ideas, thoughts, perspectives, and even decision-making.
I would really like to take this time to thank His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik for his belief in the youth of today and their relevance in the growth of our country which is in line with Vision 2040.
For me, engaging the youth of Oman is beyond merely giving young people a voice; it is the commitment to ensure that the young people of Oman are valued and that their contributions are respected, considered, and acted upon.
This also means providing a platform for the youth to be emancipated into future leaders. This is a stepping stone to building the future.
