Oman’s hotels revenues exceed RO 192 million in 2015
The latest figures issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) show that the revenues of hotels classified as 3–5 stars reached RO 192,133 million during 2015, compared with RO 191,492 in 2014.

The latest figures issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) show that the revenues of hotels classified as 3–5 stars reached RO 192,133 million during 2015, compared with RO 191,492 in 2014.
The occupancy rate recorded a 2.1% increase by reaching 61.7% compared to 60.4% logged during the same period of 2014, while the number of hotel guests during period reached 1,204,376 guests, compared with 1,234,161 in 2014.
The number of Omani guests reached 356,067, while GCC guests numbered 160,604. Other Arab guests numbered 57,396, while Europeans and Asians numbered 388,707and 155,051, respectively.
The African guests reached 6,456 while the American guests reached 44,628 and guests from Oceania reached 10,839.
