Oman’s Fixed Internet Subscriptions Rise By 13.5%

Muscat: The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NSCI) announced that the Sultanate’s fixed telephone lines and fixed internet lines subscriptions, both grew in April 2021.
The NSCI elaborated that fixed telephone lines grew by 0.8% to reach 593,802 subscribers – out of which analog fixed lines subscriptions were 292,768 while the number of fixed lines connected to the internet were 244,953.
However, the number of fixed wireless internet lines went down by 16.8% in favor of fixed-line, high-speed connections.
