Oman, Lebanon Discuss Boosting Trade and Investment Cooperation

The meeting focused on strengthening trade and investment cooperation and exploring new avenues for partnership between the two nations. Both ministers reviewed opportunities for collaboration in several key areas, including boosting investments, developing industries, and leveraging their strategic locations through the logistics sector.
They also discussed the feasibility of launching a direct flight route between Muscat and Beirut, which would positively impact tourism and trade exchange. The meeting further touched upon a proposal to organize an Omani-Lebanese economic forum and an accompanying exhibition for Lebanese industries.
Both sides emphasized the importance of elevating economic cooperation to broader levels and working together to establish strategic partnerships that achieve sustainable development.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Saidi, Oman’s ambassador to Lebanon, along with several officials from both countries.
