Oman & Kuwait Conduct Virtual Meeting To Discuss Trade In Agriculture & Fisheries

Muscat: Oman and Kuwait conducted a virtual summit between its government officials to discuss the prospects of taking trade and investments in the fields of agriculture, livestock and fisheries, to the next level.
The Omani delegation was helmed by Dr Ahmed Nasser al-Bakri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources for Agriculture. The Kuwaiti delegation was led by Mohammad Jassim al-Saqr, President of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).
The event was organised by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI). During the meeting, experts from Kuwait’s Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN) previewed the laws, regulations and standard specifications related to importing and exporting agricultural, animal and fish products. Other investment opportunities were then, explored for the aforementioned sectors.
