The Oman Across Ages Museum has topped a selection of seven newly opened or reopened museums celebrated for innovation, local heritage integration, environmental efficiency, and community impact. Its striking exterior design earned it the title of ‘Most Beautiful Museum in the World for 2024.’
The museum’s design draws inspiration from the majestic Al Hajar Mountain range, blending seamlessly with its natural surroundings. Its copper-clad facades pay homage to Oman’s ancient history of metal extraction and related industries, reflecting the country’s rich cultural heritage.

The museum’s unique architectural form harmonizes with the local landscape, achieving a perfect balance between contemporary design and traditional character. This iconic structure stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of Omani culture and its ongoing spirit of innovation.
