OERLive SPOTLIGHT: Oman Sustainability Week 2025 and Oman Petroleum & Energy Show
The 2025 editions of the Oman Petroleum & Energy Show (OPES) and Oman Sustainability Week – OSW held at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre from from 12th-14th May brought together industry leaders, policymakers and innovators.
Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals and hosted by Petroleum Development Oman, OPES and OSW – organised by CONNECT – united the Sultanate of Oman’s energy and sustainability sectors to spotlight breakthrough innovations, foster critical dialogue, and forge transformative cross-sector collaborations.
At OPES 2025, themed ‘Navigating the Energy Transition through Innovation in Oil and Gas’, more than 300 exhibiting companies from over 26 countries showcased cutting-edge technologies and strategies shaping the future of oil, gas, and energy transition. Over 1,500 delegates and 300 expert speakers offered insights into advanced recovery techniques, digital transformation, carbon capture, and the role of LNG in a decarbonised world.
