New Omani Stamp Commemorates UN 75th Anniversary

Muscat: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched today a postage stamp issued by Oman Post and a silver commemorative coin issued by the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the United Nations.
The celebration was held under the patronage of Mohammed bin Nasser Al Wahaibi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
This inauguration stems from the Sultanate’s belief in the action of the United Nations in achieving international peace and security and contributing to finding solutions to international conflicts and areas of sustainable development.
The ceremony was attended by Taher bin Salim Al Amri, CBO Executive President, Abdul Malik bin Abdul Karim Al Balushi, CEO of Oman Post, a number of representatives of the UN organizations in the Sultanate, a number of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, CBO and Oman Post.
