Muscat: As a testament to its roaring success post its launch on 04th April 2021, The Electronic One-Stop-Shop, also known as Invest Easy Portal, has approved 24,664 applications as of 22nd June 2021, according to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP).
The maximum utility has arrived from the nations of India, Iran, Pakistan, Yemen, Syria, Bangladesh, UAE, Egypt and Iraq – in addition to Oman itself.
Commenting on the convenience and utility of the portal, Said bin Nasser al Maini said, “The automatic licence approval service provided by the Invest Easy portal saves both time and effort, making it one of the easiest government services launched by the Ministry in cooperation with other government entities concerned. Applicants can obtain licence approvals in less than 24 hours – a move that will encourage local and foreign investors to invest in the Sultanate.”
