National Bank Of Oman Launches Cashback Campaign
In the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan, the National Bank of Oman (NBO) launched a ‘CashBack’ campaign to reward NBO cardholders for everyday purchases. For minimum purchase of OMR 5, customers are automatically entered to a daily draw to win up to OMR 100. The rewarded amount will be transferred to the winner’s Credit Card the next day after his/her name is announced on the Bank’s social media channels. Available from May 6th, the campaign will last for 40 days.
John Chang, Chief Retail Banking Officer at NBO, said: “We understand that Ramadan is a special time of the year as customers spend quality time with family and friends, for that, we wanted to make it more enjoyable with our ‘Cashback’ Campaign. As we understand the extra expenses that accumulate during Ramadan and Eid preparations, NBO decided to empower their credit cardholders by rewarding them on purchases on groceries, dining, and clothes shopping. By using their credit cards during the campaign, customers will be able to manage their budgets, control their expenses, save more money, and get the chance to win back up to OMR 100 on daily purchases.”
In addition to the daily draw, all cardholders will enjoy accumulating points from ‘Nuqati’ program. The point based system is applied on all day-to-day banking activities and transactions ranging from cards usages, applying for loans, salary transfers, deposits, and internet and mobile banking. In addition to paying mobile bills and credit top-ups, customers can use their ‘Nuqati’ points to redeem hotel bookings, purchasing airline tickets, car rentals, paying utilities bills, paying for credit card bills or making purchases through various NBO POS terminals.
