Liva Insurance successfully concluded its participation in GCC Traffic Week, held under the theme “I Cross Safely” from 3rd to 7th May at Mall of Oman, in collaboration with the Royal Oman Police, reinforcing its commitment to promoting safer roads and raising awareness around pedestrian safety.
The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of H.E. Eng. Ahmed Said Al Amri, Chairman of Muscat Municipality.
As part of the initiative, Liva Insurance highlighted the importance of safe pedestrian crossings, encouraging responsible driving behavior and greater awareness across Oman’s roads, particularly in high-footfall areas such as malls, school zones, and public spaces. The activation reflected Liva Insurance’s continued focus on community wellbeing and proactive safety education.
Throughout the event, visitors engaged with a range of interactive activities and student-focused contests, designed to communicate key road safety messages in an engaging and memorable way. School students actively participated in these activities, with many receiving giveaways, contributing to a vibrant and impactful learning experience.
Commenting on the initiative, Bader Al Marzouqi, Head of Distribution Personal Lines at Liva Insurance, said, “At Liva Insurance, we believe that safety begins with awareness. Our participation in GCC Traffic Week, in collaboration with the Royal Oman Police, reflects our shared commitment to protecting lives and promoting safer behavior on the roads.”
Through its presence at Mall of Oman, Liva Insurance strengthened its connection with the community, particularly younger audiences, fostering a culture of responsibility and care that extends beyond the event. By engaging students early, the initiative aimed to instill lifelong habits that contribute to safer roads for future generations.
This initiative further reinforces Liva Insurance’s broader vision of being a trusted partner in safeguarding communities, going beyond traditional insurance to actively support awareness, prevention, and education. Liva Insurance remains committed to driving meaningful initiatives that create safer environments for everyone.
