HM The Sultan Issues A Royal Decree To Promulgate University Of Technology & Applied Sciences

Muscat: His Majesty, the Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, issued a Royal Decree (No. 47/2021) which mentioned in detail, the provisions regarding the organisational regulations, otherwise known as setting the system (bylaw) in place for the promulgation of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences.
The provisions are given as follows:
Article (1) stipulates that the provisions of the System of University of Technology and Applied Sciences, attached to this decree, shall be enforced.
Article (2) states that the Chairman of the Council of University of Technology and Applied Sciences shall issue the organizational regulation of the University, as well as other regulations and decisions necessary for the application of the System attached. Till such time, the existing regulations and decisions shall continue to be enforced without prejudice to the provisions of the System attached (to this decree).
Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced on the day following its date of publishing.
