Here is our carefully curated list of TV shows and movies you can binge-watch over these holidays on your preferred OTT platform! We have included a diverse mix of shows and films because Entertainment has no language!

Hotel Artemis (18+)

Hotel Artemis is a 2018 American dystopian tech-noir thriller film written and directed by Drew Pearce, in his feature film directorial debut. It stars Jodie Foster, Sterling K. Brown, Sofia Boutella, Jeff Goldblum, Charlie Day, Brian Tyree Henry, Jenny Slate, Dave Bautista, and Zachary Quinto. The plot follows Jean Thomas, a nurse who runs a secret hospital for criminals in futuristic Los Angeles.

Bruised (18+)

Genre: Sports, Drama, Action   

Year: 2020 Netflix

Bruised is a 2020 sports drama film directed by Halle Berry (in her directorial debut), from a screenplay by Michelle Rosenfarb. It stars Berry, Shamier AndersonAdan CantoSheila Atim, and Stephen McKinley Henderson. The film had its world premiere at the 2020 Toronto International Film Festival on September 12, 2020. It was for a limited theatrical release on November 17, 2021, prior to streaming on Netflix on November 24.

Annaatthe (16+)

Language: Tamil, Telugu

Annaatthe (translation. Big Brother) is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by Siva and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. The film stars RajinikanthNayanthara and Keerthy Suresh in main roles while Jagapathi BabuAbhimanyu SinghPrakash RajSooriMeenaKhushbuBalaKulappulli Leela, and Vela Ramamoorthy in supporting roles.

The music for the film is composed by D. Imman while cinematography and editing are performed by Vetri and Ruben respectively. The film revolves around the relationship of Kaalaiyan ( played by Rajini), a village president and his sibling, Thanga Meenakshi (played by Keerthy).

Dhamaka (13+) – Top 10 in Oman 

Genre: Action, Intense 

Year : 2021 Netflix

Language : Hindi

Dhamaka (translation. Blast) is a 2021 Indian Hindilanguage thriller film directed by Ram Madhvani who also produced the film with Amrita Madhvani, under his banner Ram Madhvani Films, along with Ronnie Screwvala‘s RSVP MoviesLotte CultureworksGlobal Gate Entertainment and Lionsgate Films. An official remake of the 2013 film The Terror Live, the film stars Kartik Aaryan in the leading role of a journalist named Arjun Pathak, who receives a threat after he exclusively interviewed a terrorist, who blew up a bridge. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Amruta Subhash in prominent roles.

Red Notice (13+) – Number 2 in Netflix Oman

Year: 2021 Netflix

Genre: Action, Comedy, Crime Movies

Red Notice is a 2021 American action comedy film written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. It stars Dwayne Johnson as an FBI agent who reluctantly teams up with a renowned art thief (Ryan Reynolds) in order to catch an even more notorious criminal (Gal Gadot). The film marks the third collaboration between Thurber and Johnson following Central Intelligence (2016) and Skyscraper (2018).

Selling Sunset

Year: 2019-present Netflix

Genre: Drama, Reality TV, Real Estate

Drama! Drama! Drama! Selling Sunset is an American reality television series for Netflix created by Adam DiVello.

The series revolves around the Oppenheim Group, a high-end real estate brokerage firm in Los Angeles, and follows a group of agents as they navigate their personal and professional lives.

The first season premiered with eight episodes on March 21, 2019. The show returned for a second season on May 22, 2020, and the third season on August 7, 2020. On March 11, 2021, Netflix renewed the show for a fourth and fifth season. In 2021, the series was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program. Season 4 premiered on November 24, 2021.
