We all know 2019 is going to be an iconic year for TV shows as Game of Thrones and Orange is the New Black screen their series finales. Yes, it will break many hearts but guess what, there are some brand new shows that can make these series a thing of the past.
Here’s what has got everyone excited:
Modern Love
This show is Amazon Prime’s big bet for 2019 which will feature big stars like Anne Hathaway and Dev Patel. It is an anthology series, which explores various facets of love and is based on the same name as that of a New York Times column.
Star Wars: The Mandalorian
Disney has its eyes set on streaming platforms and is all set to roll out Disney+ this year. It will feature plenty of original content from Disney, Marvel and Lucasfilm. This version of Star Wars will take place after the events of The Return of Jedi. Star Wars fans can’t wait for it.
The Umbrella Academy
The superhero genre is really hot right now considering Avengers Infinity War made more than US$ 2 billion at the box office in 2018. Come February, you will get to see yet another superhero TV show. The Umbrella Academy is about a dysfunctional family with special powers who are set to investigate the death of their surrogate father. It is based on the comic book series and will premiere on Netflix.
Watchmen
This show is based on the iconic graphic novel by Alan Moore. It tells a story in an alternate history where superheroes are branded as outlaws. With Alan Moore, a fabulous cast and an intriguing storyline, this is the one to watch out for in 2019.

Twilight Zone
In the late 80s and early 90s, The Twilight Zone was a huge hit. Back in those days, the show gave plenty of thrills, chills and twists. And guess what, it’s coming back later this year for much more. So stay tuned.
