SNC-Lavalin wins EPC refinery contract from Saudi Aramco

SNC-Lavalin through their affiliate Saudi Arabian Kentz has announced that it has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction contract by Saudi Aramco for the expansion of asphalt production facilities at its Ras Tanura Refinery in Saudi Arabia. Upon completion of the expansion, the asphalt production capacity at the facility will increase from 22 thousand barrels per day to 42 thousand barrels per day.
The contract will be executed by SNC-Lavalin’s in-Kingdom entity, Saudi Arabian Kentz. The project is expected to be completed in approximately 18 months, and builds on the company’s long-term working relationship with Saudi Aramco.
SNC-Lavalin will provide comprehensive engineering and detailed design, procurement, installation, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning, necessary for the project completion and plant startup.
