Amaeya Media Announces the Launch of the Mommy’s Happy Hour Podcast

Today, Amaeya Media, the UAE’s largest podcast network, launched a new podcast, Mommy’s Happy Hour, that aims to create an unfiltered, informative and relatable platform for mothers across the Middle East.
Mommy’s Happy Hour is Amaeya Media’s first podcast to be created out of Egypt, aligning with the Network’s mission to unlock the untapped potential of on-demand audio content for the Middle Eastern region. It is also the 10th branded show and the 16th podcast being produced by the UAE-based Network.
The host of Mommy’s Happy Hour, Heba Shunbo is based in Cairo, Egypt and is the founder of The Four Fat Ladies bakery in the same city. Since giving birth to twins after a long struggle with infertility, she has been navigating through the contradictory and often unsolicited advice on motherhood from everyone around her. As a catharsis for getting through her postpartum depression, Heba will be soon publishing a book on motherhood, in which she touches on the idiosyncrasies and urban legends that pervade this part of the world. Through the podcast, Heba hopes to explore and dissect the various perspectives on motherhood while creating a relatable platform for other mothers in the Middle East.
Mommy’s Happy Hour will traverse multiple facets of motherhood—new theories and fads, childcare, nutrition, personal wellbeing and striking the precarious ‘balance’ between life, parenthood, career and romance. Each episode of the show will feature mothers and experts from different walks of life, all while uncovering the secrets, pains and pleasures of motherhood.
The premiere episode airs on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. The trailer and the first episode can be accessed on: https://amaeya.media/mommyshappyhour/. The podcast will be available on all leading podcast players, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Anghami, Deezer and more.
