Jetex VIP lounge and Private Aircraft Ground Handling Services opens at Muscat International Airport
Muscat International Airport on Tuesday officially launched Jetex VIP lounge and Private Aircraft Ground Handling Services, provider of Fixed-Base operators (FBO) Services in Oman, under the patronage of HE Sheikh Salem Bin Mustahail Al Mashani and with the attendance of number of dignitaries and officials.
Serving over 50 destinations in more than 25 countries worldwide, the launch at Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport is the 30th operational centre for this international company specialising in luxury ground handling services.
At the inauguration ceremony, Jetex reviewed its business in handling private aircraft at various airports of the world and explained the importance of this new services at Muscat International Airport. Since its inception, it has witnessed a qualitative leap in the level of service and luxury. Jetex is considered the first private aviation support company operating fully out of Oman. Operating from the airport’s general aviation terminals, the new lounge will include greater convenience, excellent amenities, and a Professional team to cater to all the VIP aviation requests. Jetex takes pride in the highest qualified team of experts always strive to deliver the finest of experiences.
The guest of honour listened to a briefing on the ground handling mechanisms at Muscat International Airport for this new service. The CEO of Oman Airports and the guest of honour along with the media took a flight tour in two aircrafts of Sky Prime for Aviation Services Company, the strategic partner of Jetex, as a simulator of the handling steps at Muscat International Airport.
Oman Airports CEO Sheikh Aimen Al Hosni said, “The opening of the new Jetex lounge is another milestone in providing VIP services at the new Muscat International Airport. We hope this will take us closer to our strategic goal in 2020 to be among the top 20 airports in the world. We are delighted to have excellent quality services from Jetex.”
Jetex President and CEO Adel Martini said, “We are happy to launch our exclusive lounge in Oman and are grateful to the strong leadership and vision of the Airport Authority. I am confident that this new facility will enhance the overall airport experience for all passengers traveling through the airport. We hope to pursue our next step to global expansion with our latest lounge in Muscat. The VIP terminal is expected to be ready in 12 months.”
The launch of the new service at Muscat International Airport nourishes the vision and strategies of Oman Airports in accordance with Oman Aviation Group and General Authority of Civil Aviation and other strategic partners within Muscat International Airport family. With Oman expected to grow as an aviation hub in the GCC region within the next decade, Jetex will play a central role in serving business aviation clients at International Muscat and Salalah airports.
