Etihad Airways To Start Regular Flight Operations From June 16

Etihad Airways is now looking to start its regular operations from June 16, delaying the decision on resumption for the second time this month.
The flight bookings for the airline have commenced, allowing passengers to book for flights starting June 16, according to a statement issued today. The airline has however warned that this is also subject to current restrictions and possible extensions.
Etihad had earlier announced that it planned to restart flights from May 1, however, it decided to extend the suspension until at least May 16, given the severity of the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
The Abu Dhabi-based airline has implemented strict sanitisation and customer wellbeing initiatives in line with all UAE and international government and regulatory authority directives. This boosts its already strict procedures in place to ensure top-notch hygiene standards for its guests and also social distancing in-flight.
The airline plans to increase frequencies on recently announced special flights from Abu Dhabi to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Frankfurt, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, London Heathrow, Manila, Melbourne, Seoul Incheon, Singapore, Tokyo Narita, Zurich, and will also add flights to Dublin and New York JFK.
Travellers wishing to book these flights are advised to visit www.etihad.com to review their options and to remain informed on the appropriate entry regulations at their end destination. Flights are also available for booking through the mobile app, by calling the Etihad Airways Contact Centre on +971 600 555 666 (UAE), or through a local or online travel agency. UAE nationals wishing to return back to the UAE should contact their local UAE embassy or consulate.
