NBC launches second edition of ‘Ideation Programme’
The National Business Centre (NBC), which is affiliated to the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates – Madayn, has announced the launch of the second edition of ‘Ideation Programme’.
Supported by Omantel and held in cooperation with Global Retail Company, the one-month programme aims at developing and transforming innovative ideas of 25 participants into actual projects.
The Ideation Programme aspires to support these creative ideas and help shaping business plans that allow the participants to establish their own projects. The programme comprises intensive remote training workshops to stimulate creativity and innovation, which focus on the significance of planning and preparing market research, highlight how to attract new investments, in addition to conducting individual remote mentoring sessions for each participant to develop their ideas through effective methods.
This programme comes in line with the objectives of NBC to offer promising Omani entrepreneurs a platform to develop their business ideas and advance them into growing ventures. Inaugurated in 2013, NBC provides a premier platform for Omani entrepreneurs by offering business development support and guidance, training and mentoring, access to markets and industry experts, and state-of-the-art and fully equipped office space, meeting rooms and presentation facilities. NBC offers intensive training, coaching and mentoring to the incubated companies to enhance their entrepreneurial skills through a cutting-edge environment that will allow the companies to flourish, network, form partnerships, and have access to business mentors.
