Under the Sohar I Prize Scheme 2019, Minor accounts enjoy double the chances to win cash prizes in the various draws including Minor weekly draws, General weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual draws, the Wealth Management draws – if they meet the criteria – as well as the special occasion draws.

In addition to the weekly draws, providing five lucky minors the chance to win OMR 500 distributed equally amongst them, Minor accounts are entitled to enter the Monthly Draws, which offer prizes worth OMR 100,000 in total equally split between two customers in the General segment and two customers from the Wealth Management segment. Moreover, in the month of September, Minor Account customers will stand a chance to enter into the Quarterly Draws, which will give away OMR 200,000 in total equally split between two customers in the General segment and two customers from the Wealth Management segment. The biggest draw of the year, for the Minor accounts to enter, will be in the 2019 Year-End grand draws, giving away a total of OMR 400,000 distributed equally between four customers; two customers in the General segment and two customers from the Wealth Management segment.

Additionally, the Sohar | Prize Scheme for the year 2019 gives Minor account holders chances to enter into the special occasion draws namely the Omani Women’s Day with OMR 10,000 in total for ten winners (in case the minor customer is a female), and the 49^th National Day with OMR 49,000 to be won by 49 customers.
