Sohar International Hosts Iftar for Government Institutions
As part of its celebrations during the holy month of Ramadan, Sohar International recently hosted an Iftar gathering for its Government Institutions and Public Sector Unit clients at Crown Plaza, Oman Conventions and Exhibitions Centre. Aimed at promoting partnership in the progress and sustainable development of the nation, the Iftar event was a gesture of appreciation and gratitude – on behalf of the Bank – for its clients in the government sector for their continued trust and support.
The Iftar gathering was graced and attended by senior officials and representatives from various government and public sector institutions. Representing Sohar International and welcoming guests to the event were members of the executive team and senior members from the bank’s dedicated Government Institutions and Public Sector Division.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Iftar, Ahmed Al Musalmi mentioned, “Our Iftar for the Government and Public sector institutions was the perfect occasion for us to reaffirm ties, forge new alliances and celebrate longstanding partnerships with our numerous associates. In tandem with our new personality built on the pillars of being Sharp, Human and Unstoppable; these events allow us a further window into the sector’s business needs, so we can better help them achieve their goals and ambitions.”
He further added: “On behalf of the management and staff of Sohar International, I would like to thank our clients from the Government and Public Sector for sharing in our celebration of the holy month of Ramadhan. We also thank them for the trust that they have reposed in our expertise to provide them with the best financial solutions and look forward to continuing to be a part of their journey towards more winning.”
Sohar International serves as a financial ecosystem providing a broad range of customers with cutting-edge products and customer-centric services that mark its vision towards becoming a world-leading Omani service company. The Iftar gathering for the Government Institutions and Public Sector is a strong indication of Sohar International’s wholesome relationship with its partners and customers. The bank has earlier hosted a special Iftar for its corporate clients as well. Having a consolidated presence in the wholesale and retail banking segments, the Bank remains a key contributor towards the economic growth of the Sultanate.
