The Sultanate of Oman is gearing up to celebrate the 45th National Day, which will give the citizens and residents of the Sultanate an opportunity to express their pride and love for the nation and its great leader His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
Shell Oman is also taking part in this momentous occasion for the entire nation, under the theme #MyOman45. The Shell Oman celebrations were launched at City Centre Muscat, under the auspices of HE Ali bin Khalfan Al Jabri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information in the presence of Adil Al-Raisi, Managing Director of Shell Oman Marketing Company.
As part of the programme, Shell Oman announced a month-long #MyOman45 contest to be held on the various social media platforms. To join the contest all one has to do is take a picture that represents #MyOman45 and submit it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag. The winners will be selected through a draw and 45 people will get to win a fuel card worth RO 45 each from Shell Oman.
One of the ways to do this would be to visit a participating Shell Service Station, get a #MyOman45 car sticker and post a selfie with it. Participants can also take a picture at the ‘selfie’ walls placed at City Centre Muscat and Shell stations in Sarooj, North Azaibah (18th Nov. Street) , Azaibah (Sultan Qaboos Street.), Al Amerat, Al Hail South and Darsait. In addition, you can also take a photo that symbolises National Day celebrations and upload it online with #MyOman45 hashtag.
The contest will be open from October 18 to November 17, 2015.
